Our Mission

Ebenezer Oromo Evangelical Church is a Body of Believers who acknowledges salvation by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ; and encourages personal development and spiritual growth. We strive to follow Jesus Christ and nurture our God-given gifts for supporting one another in service to others. Inspire and challenge our congregation to grow and serve, thereby transform their faith and anticipates the return of Jesus Christ.

EOEC is a mission based church on Matthew 28:18-20 to proclaim the saving work of Jesus Christ to all people and particularly, Oromo as a primary mission target. We strive to be a center for the teaching of God’s Word as both the Law and the Gospel and equip all members for ministry in the kingdom. Holistic ministry is our mission to meet the need for both soul and body.

Our beliefs

Ebenezer Oromo Evangelical Church is a body of Christians who believe, salvation is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ.  We worship God with faithfulness and preach His words in its entirety, and believe the Holy Bible is the true words of God without error. God deserves all the honor and praise for Who He is, what He has done and He continues to do. It is the utmost desire of our church to fulfill the calling and responsibility He entrusted to us. We strive to be a symbol of unity of Christians, center of love, harmony and hope.
